Air Jordan 37 YOTR in celebration of the 2023 Chinese New Year
Latest Nike Jordan Sneakers, As the premier basketball sneaker from Michael Jordan’s eponymous label, the latest Air Jordan features a number of on-court-specific components that are animated by details in-line with the changing of the Lunar Calendar. A rabbit-appropriate off-white takes over much of the woven upper and its synthetic overlays, as well as the hairy mudguard and chiseled midsole. It features a Lenoweave upper inspired by the Air Jordan 7 and comes constructed from West African basket weaving techniques. Its geometric sole unit featuring Formula 23 cushioning completes the look with a primarily white midsole joined by hits of yellow, red and a semi-translucent green. Lastly, there is a red Jumpman logo on the tongue, with a gold Jumpman insignia near the back heel.
The New Jordans Retro features a color scheme that’s somewhat similar to the “Hare 2.0” Jordan 7 from 2020, with a grey-based upper and subtle pink hits appearing on the collar. Soft jade-reminiscent flair appears at the collar and tongue’s underside, with the latter donning NIKE, Inc.’s graphic for the “Year of the Rabbit” collection. Other details includes dynamic Formula 23 foam midsole paired with a carbon fiber plate at the midfoot and a Zoom Air unit at the forefoot. Favoring an off-white base, green chimes in at the collar alongside traditional CNY colors of red and gold at the heel. Red can also be spotted throughout the interior, including on the themed sockliner. Hits of regal red and gold land throughout the spine and multi-directional outsole, rounding out the special edition of the Air Jordan 37.
Shop Jordans 2020, Dropping in 2011, the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Year Of The Rabbit” honors the Chinese Zodiac with a design that takes inspiration from a thematic precursor, the OG Hare Jordan from 1992. The mid-top sports a two-tone upper in white and Light Silver, with metallic gold accents on the laces, Jumpman logo and heel loop. There’s also a special rabbit logo stamped behind the tongue commemorating the aforementioned zodiac animal, a red envelope detail on the insole, and gold aglets on the shoelaces. leather overlays throughout.
