Breaking a 20 Year-old streak of buying Madden?
To be honest and I understand there’ll be but franchise gamers are the minority that is likely. I think a small percentage of buyers are playing with franchise and that I feel the way EA is moving or already has moved is to appeal to the casual player and the Hardcore Mut Coins Madden 21 players. And the easiest way to do so is with Modes such as the 3 on 3 additional modes, superstar mode etc. Consider it, longtime lovers have complained about something yet Madden sells outdoing occasionally and 21 sells. You cater to players that are new /attempt to draw players which brings attention to the actual NFL Sport. The NFL large wigs are gonna love that idea and push madden to continue to go in that direction and maintain exclusivity.
I really would not be shocked if maddens whole business program is to constantly driving new lovers to the NFL rather than retain long time madden players because let us be fair ( a great deal of long time players are now adults that just play Madden 21 ever so often so we will probably buy Madden 21 regardless). Additionally the NFL has made money off the Longterm madden players through the years, we’ve watched Madden 21s on tv to maintain the tv earnings up, some have purchased the jerseys etc., so the bargain between madden and the NFL would be to have drive new fans our way and they are doing that today with things such as MUT, which is basically a popularity contest and the celebrity mode (play as DJ Khalid, Yachty, amigos etc now you’re reaching for those guys fans who may not have played madden or even heard of it.
You’re totally right guy. Personally, I like MUT and franchise style. I bitch about UT but I am also a part of the problem in regards to franchise style dying while UT happens off. Me and my two best friends went hard on squads last year and won a few Super Bowls together. It was a ton of fun. Then I sit back and realize that between us, all grownup IT professionals with no kids, we probably spent north of $1,000 collectively to”improve” our experience. then I go and try to play with a solo adventure in offline franchise like the old days and see how fucking terrible and not fun it’s become. I guess part of my disdain for UT is that it didn’t have to come to this. I am unhappy and I feel bad that I helped bring to the demise of this legitimate simulation game that we all grew up loving. Honest to god pain in my heart and I regret what I have helped contribute to. EA played us hard. I don’t regret the great times we had but that I feel it ultimately ruined the product.
I performed MUT for 2 years 17-18 and assembled a 99 ovr group times without spending and putting a great deal of hours into. Today I am a parent so that time has cut short and once I buy madden it’s solely because me and Cheap Mut 21 Coins my brothers all play online and trash talk each other every weekend and frankly that’s why I buy it every year as it keeps us in communicating with each other since we’re in various nations with families, children etc. But do not be hard on yourself. MUT Players aren’t the reason why Franchise has been bare and here is evidence: 2K has an UT known as myteam that is horribly worst than maddens in the microtransactions section.
