But, I’d encourage a spoiler label for some events/items
Now most people have experienced all four seasons, and given that the New Horizons Items two hemispheres are in different seasons, so I don’t think a spoiler tag should be crucial for general content that happens in various months because of TT.
But, I’d encourage a spoiler label for some events/items (e.g., toy afternoon, festivale) and particularly for items which can only be collected from finishing that event (such as the festivale float) or that may only be acquired via hacking (as opposed to an item collected through TT and traded to a player who does not TT), possibly until the event is unlocked/has started in the past period zone/items are added to the game and believed”tradeable” without hacking.
ETA: Allowed, screenshots of gamers using hacked items bothers me , not because they”spoil” (especially if they’re at the trailer), but since the comment threads end up being full of people asking how/where to acquire the items when they aren’t available to most players. Once they’re formally available whether in TT or real time, fine.
Commonly repeated villager dialogue is not worth posting about. It’s not adding anything to the subreddit
milestones are exciting for players that are new but need a business. Either a dedicated day of the week for submitting them (or maybe have them allowed on the weekends) or some megathread
Images taken of the console screen are fine provided that the image is discernible. There’s no point posting photographs with so much glare that I can’t see what’s happening. HQ pictures are easy to access a phone with the new upgrade. (I saw the article with the change in the microwave. It was insane)
photographs of clothing/merch could be kind of repetitive. Sharing the statement of this colour pop collab made sense. Everyone posting a photograph of the exact same palette or box when it arrives at the mail is tedious.
The only time I was annoyed by somebody carrying a pic of their switch’s display instead of using the screencap function was when a dude who had been clearly trolling kept posting more and more absurd shots of his screen, culminating in him submitting a pic of his change’s display in the microwave when somebody pointed out the light in his additional pics was bad.
But that was one instance in all the weeks I’ve browsed this sub, and it was something easily dealt with if people needed to recognize that a troll and just downvote his stuff when they watched it. But in Animal Crossing Items For Sale my own experience modding on other sites, some people are always likely to fall for the troll bait, sadly.
