How to get to Claw Viper Temple?

Players can find Claw Viper Temple according to the following route:

Rocky Waste > Dry Hills > Far Oasis > Lost City > Valley of Snakes > Claw Viper Temple

Rocky Waste is a large area outside of town in Act Two. Dry Hills, Far Oasis, and Lost City have road signs that players can find before entering the next location. In Diablo 2 Resurrected, waypoints make it easier for players to return to an area when a death occurs, or to return to the best farm location as quickly and painlessly as possible.

From The Lost City

Since the map is procedurally generated in Diablo 2, the exact location of the Claw Viper Temple is unpredictable. However, it is always located in the Snake Valley area, and players can find it through the same path every time they play.

If the player has opened the Lost City waypoint, they can travel there from the town and then search the randomly generated path to Snake Valley. Once in the valley, look for the Temple of the Clawed Serpent, which has a serpent-like monster statue at its entrance. All this searching can be a little annoying, which is why a better map is one of the biggest fixes Diablo 2 Resurrected needs.

Finishing The Quest

When the Claw Viper Temple is found, the player must do two things: destroy the snake Altar and find the Horadric Amulet. Destroying the altar will drop amulets for all players in the party. The altar is located on level 2 of the Claw Viper Temple and is protected by Fangskin.

Kill enemies, destroy altars, pick up amulets, and return to town to gather the Horadric Scepter. Alternatively, store the amulet in a stash until you find it. Once all three pieces are positioned, place the amulet and axis into the Horadric cube and press transform. This is one of many Horadric cube recipes to remember. Players can now take it to Tal Rasha’s tomb in Diablo 2 Resurrected to complete the second act.
