I’m not stressed for PSO2
PSU was a game. PSO2 is free to perform with. There are some free to pso2 sales play games which are utter crap that nevertheless possess a Phantasy Star Online 2 player base. I’m not stressed for PSO2. There’s a ton of these on PS4 and PC. This sub is obviously secrey wishing for it to fail because they are Jap eliists or don’t want to feel as though they are missing out by staying Jap servers.
Devs already stated they are on track to create NA in sync with JP after complete release. It’s been posted a few times. From what I have been advised by a different mod, this can hopefully be a possibility that is smaller. This time around, Sega of Japan – that the actual developer of Phantasy Star Online 2 and also writer of the JP version – is commanding the releases for NA. This was before outcry got it altered, why the weekly maintenance was horrible times for its US audience. Hell I’ve a ring ready to be leveled to 20 but they haven’t even published the material required to degree it into 20. Just how do you have to be to pull off? Really puts me off but I’ll keep logging on for my own dailies and retain hope since I adored Phantasy Star Online 2 back cube and this is a good AF sequel but they have got to give us some more shit to do.
When it went to multiple apps such as steam and epic launchers it would attract far more attention besides hidden on just xbox and windows store. Dont act like epic could really make a difference, the whole circle jerk goes”steam great, anything else awful”. I believe you are forgetting the visibility factor. I’ve got an Xbox, and I trace PSO2, but a great deal of people don’t. A lot of people, myself included, don’t even glance at the Windows shop unless they know they will need to go there to get something.
Possessing a splash page advertising on all of the major platforms will really assist Phantasy Star Online 2 reach people.
It’ll get by, I don’t think it’s gonna be anything or a hit. PSO has never really felt like more than a cult and it not being a game doesn’t help build excitement. 8 years back there was at least still a active Blue Burst community and the latest sequel was just a couple years old not a decade back so there was more brand recognition. Now it dropping on an oblivious audience out of nowhere.
Anecdotally it is also not super welcoming to new Phantasy Star Online 2 gamers however – at least both of the folks I must play it felt perplexed and frustrated early on and stop within a few weeks. They complained there were not clear EN server or tutorials build guides. It required a lot of convincing for one to can you buy meseta on pso2 pick up it and realize it clicks eventually, the other still will not come back.
