The excitement and desire we have to play the new NBA 2K22 are real. So while we wait for new information that should arrive throughout this new month of July, the trusted user 2Kintel has leaked through Twitter the cover and release date of NBA 2K22. In addition to this, it has also been revealed on which platforms it will be available and the benefits for reserving said edition.

As you can see in the following image, it seems that the cover that has been leaked would be a special edition of the game. Everything seems to indicate that this is a special edition, similar to the NBA 2K21 Kobe Bryant that is available on Game Pass. In this case, the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition would be starring three great basketball players. On the left side we have Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, on the opposite side to the star Kevin Durant and in the center of the cover we have Dirk Nowitzki, three great NBA legends. As for the release date of NBA 2K22, it seems that it would arrive on NBA 2K22 MT Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PS5 next September 10, 2021.

The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition reportedly includes NBA 2K22 for both the old and the new generation, plus 100,000 NBA 2K22 points. Take-Two and 2K Games have not confirmed any of this, but everything seems to indicate that this is the cover of one of the editions of NBA 2K22, the new basketball title that would be scheduled to launch worldwide on September 10.
