The Visuals in 2K22 are marginally better.
Generally speaking, NBA 2K22 has a better visual appearance than NBA 2K21, but the difference is marginal. I believe I speak for all of the MyGM fans out there when I say that it would have been preferable to leave it exactly as it was rather than destroying the concept in the manner in which it has been done in NBA 2K22. MyLeague Online in NBA 2K21 was a complete disaster due to servers that were unable to handle the high volume of traffic during the offseason. This year, the mode performs slightly better, though not to its full potential. MLO fans have been far less vocal in recent months, which suggests that things have gotten better.

2K still believes in the cinematic elements of MyCareer, which are still in development. The story this year is less intrusive than the one from last year. However, the more I experiment with it, the more I realize that the process is still very similar to what it was before. It’s just that the appearance is a little different.
