The adidas continental 80 women’s, one of the lifestyle siblings of the Originals family recently featured in Pharrell‘s latest Hu capsule, is back for another release geared towards its more general audience. Shedding its cream-colored exteriors, the silhouette is now getting done up with a more classical approach by mimicking the look of the ever-popular white and green Stan Smith colorway.

The adidas superstar original is typically at its best when it’s the most simple. And this upcoming scheme, which was revealed by way of the brand’s Japanese arm, follows that to a close T, only dressing up the silhouette’s stripes and accompanying overlays. Everything else from the signature shell toe to the leather construction is hued in white much like the Superstar’s many iconic OGs. The laces as well as the tongue and midsole follow suit, while the panels over top begin to contrast in a water color replete with shades both blue and purple.

There’s no doubt that adidas Originals prides itself on their classic silhouettes, and if you’re talking timeless Three Stripes models, the adidas stan smith gold still continues to be a noteworthy icon in their lifestyle range even 60 years after its inception. Having already repurposed its simplistic design with intriguing upgrades such as Gore-Tex uppers and velvety suedes this season, the everyday staple is adding a pair of striking makeovers to its lineup with the welcoming of two new iterations dressed in matte metals.

Ahead of its rumored early 2021 launch, the adidas yeezy boost 350 continues to emerge in unofficial, in-hand images. Unlike the mock-up that accompanied the pair’s initial announcement, follow-up pictures of the BOOST-cushioned model have depicted a grey-and-light-brown proposition instead of a mostly-dark-brown option. The lateral profile stripe effectively splits Yeezy‘s most ubiquitous silhouette, with top-halves of the upper donning a different Primeknit pattern and shade of brown than the half closer to the midsole.
