In 2006, Jordan Brand toyed with the idea of releasing an Air Jordan 5 Retro with a full 3M upper. Dressed in an Indigo Haze, Fire Red, Metallic Silver, Alabasters, and Flint Grey color scheme. As its moniker suggests, the low-top emits a shimmering aesthetic via its 3M iridescent reflective upper that is complemented with Fire Red adorning its midsole. Finally, black accents throughout, translucent lace locks, and an icy translucent outsole rounds out the profile. Grey is seen on the lace overlays and liner as well with the Jumpman appearing on the tongue in Fire Red.
