World of Warcraft Classic’s Ahn’Qiraj raid will go live on July 28

World of Warcraft Classic is slowly bringing the full version of of the original MMO experience to life, and one of the biggest raids and events in the game will go live on July 28. Version 1.13.5 will unlock the Ahn’Qiraj content, which brings players to the sandy zone of Silithus.

When the July 28 patch hits, players will begin a quest chain to craft a Scepter of the Shifting Sands. Every server will also run a “war event,” where heroes turn in gathered resources like cloth and leather to leaders in their faction’s capital cities. Once the war effort has been completed, the gates of Ahn’Qiraj will open. This includes a special, one-time event where players can attempt to swarm the zone and ring a gong in order to earn an incredibly rare and exclusive bug mount.

Ahn’Qiraj, or AQ as it’s more commonly known, originally came out in January 2006, and actually contains two different dungeon areas; the 20-person Ruins, and the full, 40-person Temple, both of which will be unlocked after players open the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj on their server. If you want to Buy WOW Classic US Gold, I think z2u.com is your best choice, after all, the site has been officially certified,so it’s very safe.

To unlock the Gates of AQ and open up both areas, there will be a server-wide world event that will begin on July 28 and go through three different phases. Every player can (and should!) participate in gathering war supplies whether they’re on the Alliance or Horde, and there are also Epic and Hardcore quest chains for the top guilds on the server to complete in order to open the gates.

The remastered Gates of Ahn’Qiraj has succeeded in fanning the flames of old magic from Warcraft’s younger days. Whether it takes the full ten-hours like before, most players are ready for their taste of a classic reunion on the battlefield, with any Leeroy Jenkins persona’s being left at the outskirts.
