I was in a meh guild onto a meh waiter and conducted my own fair share of PUGs, with very few exceptions it constantly seemed inevitable, like having to pretend we always speedrunning even when we’re really not. It takes the pleasure from WOW Classic, the effort-to-payoff ratio is just way, way off with Wow Classic players.

It’s equally as widespread in retail sadly. Consistently running dungeons with people saying”Here is how they do it MDI!” They do in MDI while needing knowing. I doesn’t matter how many times you say”No, yanking 6 packs and’simply aoe them’ does not work” They never understand it requires multiple cooldowns to handle all of the harm moving out and coming in. I frankly love that it’s a solved match. I understand what I want to do and that I understand how to do everything that has to be carried out. The fun comes in getting through the material more efficiently and faster and executing the struggles. Do I need to assemble all of world buffs to clear this raid? Hell no, but me having those fans helps us clear and that’s something I really enjoy doing.

Out of interest, how hot are fire mages in this phase in WOW Classic? Till we discovered ignites that were rolling in Naxx they were used cheap classic wow gold in Vanilla. But then, we were paranoid so everybody played frost. There is a fire attack shatter build for aoe grinding that’s super hot but none of those dps mages have swapped to complete fire as far as I know.There has been a lot of danger to fire at first, particularly in AQ. However, the DPS was essential in Naxx, and there seemed to be AoE and crap. However, I guess with everybody being brighter and better than a decade back, make the switch to fire and they could begin to push on it.
