In true arcade style, the main characters are largely of high schoolers with this exceptional affinity, and strange events begin to happen around them. On the PSO2 facet, you’ll meet some new personalities and Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta find old ones return, though most don’t have a major function. A lot of the plot occurs on Earth and involves finding the schedule of a high-tech organization, which eventually culminates in a lore connection to PSO2’s entire world. It’s mostly a one-off Episode, but the connection to Earth remains forever open in the world of PSO2. Since players are traveling to Earth, you will find fresh Earth-related locales and enemies. One has already been released in the Shape of the Urgent Quest, Virtual Planet Battle Training. Another new principal place is that the streets of Toyko, even though it’s not clear whether Sega plans to change this to the North American audience. There are also other places for the story and brand new Urgent Quests, such as the Moon.

As they don’t exist in this universe, enemies around Earth are not Dark Falz. Alternatively, you’ll see enemies known as Phantoms, that come in several distinct types from Clowns to Steamrollers. They are mainly weak to the end element, including bosses, but there are exceptions. The bosses are either powerful humans or Kaiju variations of Earth objects such as a three-headed subway train, so expect to find some craziness.

In PSO2, a new story implies new Quests. Many are the typical types (ARKS, Marathon, Exploration, etc.) taking place in the new places, but expect new Urgent Quests and exploration sorts to come with Episode Four or after it originally drops. Some of these may even arrive with entirely new bosses.

Like everything we’ve seen thus far, each will have their own strategies, and some will probably be raid-style taking place in new arenas. We have already seen Challenge Quests, which are a fun way for teams or alliances to test their own mettle for great rewards. More new types are on the way, and some have different challenges and benefits, like rewarding players that score high with better loot.

Of course, Episode Four will even come with buy PSO2 Meseta new items, such as gear, augments and makeup. Also likely being added is crafting, which many enthusiasts are asking about. Crafting was introduced in Episode twice in Japan so it is likely we’ll finally see it in the North American version in August. However, PSO2’s crafting system doesn’t function how crafting does in other games. Here, you don’t necessarily make things or gear, and improvements can make weapons worse. The big thing that accompanies crafting is the ability to personalize Techniques, new achievements and titles.
